Every two t-shirts sold here help a homeless child receive their first skateboard.
The Getaboard Outreach program offers a 4-week skateboarding clinic that teaches homeless children the parts of a skateboard, how to care for a skateboard and how to ride a skateboard. At the end of each clinic, each child receives their own skateboard to keep, free of charge, for completing our program. This program helps homeless children learn an inexpensive & fun, new skill- skateboarding, which builds tenacity, self worth and a positive self image in children that need encouragement the most!
